Roles:
Fire Fighting Equipment Upkeep.
Firefighting
Conduct monthly Fire Fighting Equipment Inspection.
Conduct monthly Fire Alarm System Inspection
Fire Fighting Systems and Fire Alarm Systems maintenance work monitoring and guide
Fire pump monitoring
First Aid.
Near miss reporting and Conduct Daily Health and Safety rounds / inspections
Prepare issue, monitor and verify Permit to Work System, job safety analysis, method statements and risk assessments.
Coordinate with approved contractors on the garbage collection / disposal.
Coordinate with buyer on the scrap drum/cans collection.
Facilitate Pest Control treatment schedules and follow-up treatment findings closure/Pest Control Treatment guide.
Conduct monthly first aid box inventory and replenishment.
Conduct monthly medical supplies inventory.
Treatment and first aid of incidents.
Responding to emergency incident and arranging for transport / ambulance as and when needed.
Maintenance and upkeep of first aid room and its implements.
Monthly monitoring of Labor Camp first aid and medical supplies.
PPE receiving / issuance and inventory.
Stationery receiving / issuance and inventory.
Pantry received/issuance and inventory.
Language translation (Hindi) during Safety Induction Trainings of new joiners as needed.
Conducting refresher safety induction training and contractual staff safety induction training.
Scrap carton and plastic weighing prior to 3rd party collection / disposal.
Gate passes book receiving / issuance and inventory.
Receipt, Issuance and Inventory of Uniforms.
Conduct Monthly Forklift Safety Inspection.
Conduct bimonthly inspection of emergency shower/eyewash stations.
Invoices and IOM approval, submission and recordkeeping
Follow-up on annual pressure vessels/boilers/fuel tanks/lifting equipment certifications.
Investigate all incidents, determine the root causes, and come up with corrective / preventive actions.
Incidents investigated are Lost Time Incidents (LTI), minor accidents, asset damages, sickness and near misses.
Filing / Documentation and other Administrative functions.
Signage and Poster installation.
Conduct Chiller and freezer manual alarm monitoring.
Maintain HR training room for external/external training.
Budget and invoice tracking list monthly update.
Preventive maintenance (MEP) work updating
Perform other duties as instructed by Projects and Facilities Manager / Admin Officer.
Candidate Profile:
Specific Knowledge
With at least 2 -4 years’ experience in Health & Safety similar role
Must be NEBOSH and IOSH Certified
Computer skills are required
Basic MS office
Industrial Safety particularly in Food Manufacturing.
