This is a regional strategic account manager role and will be responsible for creating long-term relationships with Aramex’s portfolio of global clients. The role seeks to understand the customer’s demands, plans how to meet those demands and generates sales for the company as a result. Aramex uses the CBP role to go beyond a traditional transactional approach and focuses on establishing a mutually beneficial relationship that grows over time.
Job Role:
Manage and grow existing businesses within the market to generate substantial and sustainable revenue (multiple regions, multiple products).
Constantly arrange face-to-face meetings with customers to gather information about their businesses and identify opportunities for solutions.
Work closely with the solutions group to define innovative solutions that provide value to customer’s business operations.
Works with Aramex Senior Leadership team to develop strategies resulting in greater customer experience and performance
Identify opportunities to strengthen the relationship with key account through value impact on the customer’s operations, among others through cost optimization, on-time delivery and value added solutions
Develop leads and create opportunities within portfolio of assigned accounts through a value-based and hunting approach.
Identify sales and business opportunities to acquire new accounts and grow existing relationships building a sustainable client portfolio in the market
Work with account managers in assigned stations to create a coherent view of the customer and ensure coordination across territories.
Coordinate with Customer Service team to ensure continuous service delivery and the required attention to speed of quoting, SLAs and contract management.
Drive and accelerate business results by investing in continuous improvement on the people, process and technology front and adopting best in class practices and trends
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Aramex solutions according to our customers objectives / timelines / expectations
Forecast and track key account metrics and develop reports on a monthly basis
Collaborate with Aramex product / service leaders to identify and grow new opportunities within territories
Achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets of assigned accounts
Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customers and executive members
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Create an environment that encourages a high-performance culture to emerge
Build and strengthen internal capabilities through learning and development interventions, to bridge gaps in skills and knowledge
Educations:
Experienced in the industries: (Oil & Gas, Automotive, Aerospace, Manufactures) is preferred.
Previous experience with multi-national preferred (US / Europe based highly regarded).
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Practical experience with established sales methodologies (e.g. solution selling, value based selling, challenger sales).
Thorough understanding of global business, account management, transportation and logistics and financial acumen.
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
Bachelor’s degree.
Strong English language skills are required for this role; additional languages are preferred given the nature of this global role.
4-7 years experience in key account management or business development within the logistics and transportation sector.
