Field technician ensures that the customer receives the optimal visual and aural movie and live event experience when they are in the cinema. Taking responsibility for actions and ensuring good teamwork within the group. Must be available/flexible to work weekdays and weekends
Job Responsibility:
Film presentation; operate all film and digital projectors, sound equipment and related equipment in the projector suite.
To adhere to all cinema policies including Customer care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety & Security.
Keep regular follow up with field support engineers for pending tasks related to Digital projection system
Be aware of the hazards involved with xenon lamps both 35mm and digital lamps and Laser Projection system
Liaise with Programming team / technical team for film schedule on a weekly basis
Regular visits to assigned cinema locations and keep regular checks on picture and sound quality
Keep regular track of DCP security, arrival, and dispatch via both physical and electronic distribution for all assigned locations.
Follow up with NOC team for Playlist creation- including adverts and trailers- cue placements, sound formats and picture ratios.
Experience:
The technician should have an interest in working with technical equipment and AV setup.
Experience with live sound reinforcement equipment, including mixing consoles, compressors, graphic equalizers and microphones, for music and speech special events.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues and customers.
At least 3 to 4 year’s projection experience or something in a similar field is desirable
Movie Theater Experience, Food & Beverage, Hospitality Field Experience is Preferred
Should basic IT knowledge, MS office.
