We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor for Toyota Abu Dhabi Airport Road who possesses strong technical abilities and a focus on achieving high performance. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technical professionals, ensuring efficient workload allocation and seamless day-to-day operations to enhance workshop performance. Your duties will include liaising with various departments and distributor teams to ensure adherence to the “Fix It Right” process and timely delivery of vehicles in top-notch condition.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain high shop floor efficiency to facilitate quick and punctual vehicle delivery while ensuring profitability.
Optimize the utilization, productivity, and efficiency of technicians.
Effectively distribute, monitor, and follow up on tasks to ensure they are completed correctly and on schedule.
Uphold quality standards to enhance customer satisfaction and retention, minimizing repeat jobs and increasing overall workshop efficiency.
Provide training and coaching to enhance the skills and efficiency of team members.
Conduct road tests before and after repairs to confirm complaints and assess the effectiveness of the repair (both static and dynamic tests).
Enforce strict adherence to company rules, regulations, and procedures, including warranty policies, within company guidelines.
Required Skills:
Leadership experience in managing a team of Technicians and effectively allocating their workload.
Proficiency in monitoring and enhancing workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall efficiency.
Strong capability to draft technical reports.
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an automotive dealership, serving as a Workshop Supervisor, Controller, or Foreman.
Possession of a valid UAE Driving license.
About the team
The role will report to the Aftersales Manager and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Workshop Supervisor, Controller, Foreman & Technicians in a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Preferably holds a degree or diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical certifications.
Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an automotive dealership environment.
Possesses comprehensive technical expertise and the capability to produce detailed technical reports.
Exhibits strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates administrative competence alongside effective communication abilities.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the automotive industry, particularly in roles such as Foreman, Supervisor, Team Leader, or Workshop Controller. A valid UAE driving license is a prerequisite for this position.
