We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor who is both technically proficient and focused on achieving results for Toyota in Sharjah. In this role, you will oversee and guide a team of technical staff, efficiently allocating tasks and overseeing daily activities to optimize workshop performance. Collaboration with various departments and the distributor team is essential to ensure adherence to the Fix It Right process and timely delivery of vehicles in impeccable condition.
Job Description:
Focus on delivering quality work to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty while minimizing rework for increased workshop efficiency.
Provide training and coaching to enhance team members’ skills and efficiency.
Conduct pre-job road tests to verify complaints and post-repair tests to ensure effectiveness.
Enforce company rules, regulations, and procedures, including warranty policies, in accordance with company guidelines.
Enhance shop floor efficiency to ensure prompt vehicle delivery and improved profitability.
Optimize technicians’ utilization, productivity, and effectiveness.
Oversee proper allocation and monitoring of tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to schedules.
Required Skills:
Leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee and allocate workload among technicians.
Proficiency in monitoring and enhancing workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall efficiency.
Strong ability to write technical reports to document work processes and outcomes.
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in automotive dealership roles such as Workshop Supervisor, Controller, or Foreman.
Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
About the Team:
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, this role operates within a dynamic workshop environment. Daily interactions will involve collaborating with Workshop Supervisors, Controllers, Foremen, and Technicians.
Qualifications for the Role:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma, preferably in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or possess relevant technical certifications. A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in automotive dealership settings is required. Strong technical expertise and proficiency in writing technical reports are essential. Effective communication, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills, coupled with administrative competence, are necessary attributes. Candidates with prior experience as Foremen, Supervisors, Team Leaders, or Workshop Controllers within the automotive industry are strongly preferred. A valid UAE driving license is a mandatory requirement for this position.
