Based in Dubai and reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence and Insights at the central holding company, this role involves collaborating closely with various business units and verticals within MAF. The individual will be responsible for (a) identifying and creating tailored insights using data tools and dashboards, aiming to recommend actionable steps for addressing opportunity gaps, and (b) overseeing project implementation from ideation to execution. In addition to hands-on data analysis and insight generation, the Manager of Business Intelligence and Insights will actively engage with stakeholders across MAF businesses to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Technical Advisor in Advanced General Repair for vehicles powered by hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen.
Supporting the Technical Advisor in data collection for creating Repair Support Requests (RSR), conducting quality checks, and performing Quality Control (QC) and Root Cause Analysis (RT) as necessary.
Generating Electronic Warranty Approval Requests within the Dealer Management System (SAP).
Providing on-the-job training to Toyota Technicians and Diagnostic Technicians.
Ensuring proper utilization of Special Service Tools and maintaining inventory of general tools.
Meeting productivity targets set by management.
Achieving the prescribed sold hours target through Diagnosis, General Repair, Periodic Maintenance, Advanced General Repair (AGR), and fitting accessories according to repair manuals.

Critical skills essential for success include:
Proficiency in manual dexterity, technical, mechanical, and advanced computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of all aspects of the role, working independently and displaying effective self-management.
Strong capability to read and interpret complex documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency in following quality control inspection systems to identify and rectify faulty workmanship that doesn’t meet standards.
Capacity to write technical reports on Advanced General Repair (AGR) cases following diagnosis.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Team Overview:
In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team operating within a bustling workshop environment. Your direct interactions will primarily involve daily collaboration with the Service Advisor, Controller, Foreman, and fellow Technicians.

Qualifications for Success:
Technical Certification: A diploma from a Technical Institute such as ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or ITC.
Toyota Certification: Hold certification as a Toyota Certified Technician.
Diagnostic Mastery: Attain the Diagnostic Master Technician certification from the Automotive Academy.
Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years experience as a Diagnostic Technician, with a preference for those with experience in retail automotive settings.
Driving License: Hold a valid UAE driving license.
