Description:
As the leader of the implementation team, you will oversee the on-site supervision of IT, ELV, and AV infrastructure projects based on predefined designs. Your role involves supporting the project manager and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects until handover. The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for executing a predetermined system at the customer’s location, guided by the Project Manager and contractual agreements. Additionally, you will supervise the on-site project team as the project scope requires.

Responsibilities:

Strategize and organize site facilities effectively to meet project deadlines.
Execute ICT/ELV/AV projects at customer locations, ensuring meticulous implementation.
Manage day-to-day site operations, overseeing internal and outsourced workforce.
Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, subcontractors, planners, consultants, and authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
Review, manage, and archive project documentation, including correspondences, drawings, method statements, and manuals.
Validate design plans for compatibility during construction and participate in design review meetings.
Guide designers and draftsmen, ensuring accurate preparation of project drawings.
Serve as a technical advisor, resolving technical challenges and ensuring compliance with standards.
Manage inventory and coordinate material delivery to site, maintaining meticulous records.
Supervise testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion.
Generate project variations and coordinate with sales/presales departments for proposals.
Provide regular project progress reports and seek assistance for encountered problems.
Assist in project estimation, preparation, and submission of claims.

Required Skills for Success:

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in hands-on installation and construction practices within a construction setting.
Demonstrated experience in commissioning a variety of ICT/ELV/AV systems.
Possession of technical certifications or training in leading ICT/ELV/AV Systems.
Expertise in industry standards, practices, procedures, codes, and ICT/ELV/AV regulations.
Familiarity with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Quality Control (QC) processes.
Strong understanding of networks, installation, testing, and ICT/ELV/AV systems integration.
Competence in basic network implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software.
Adaptability:

Ability to respond effectively to changing project requirements and demands.
Management Skills:

Experience in construction management, including overseeing site operations and workforce.
Proficiency in project execution processes, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

Qualifications and Knowledge:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as IT, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in utilizing MS Office suite.
Valid UAE Driving License.

Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in relevant roles focusing on ICT/ELV project implementation.
Expertise in various aspects of project implementation, including Structured Cabling, ICT, ELV, Security, and AV, among others.
