Role Purpose:
This role aims to deliver high-quality health and personal care services to patients with professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Patient Care Coordination:

Establish rapport with patients and understand their care requirements.
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
Set patient care goals, educate them about their condition, medications, and self-care skills, and address queries.
Quality Assurance:

Adhere to therapeutic standards and measure health outcomes against set goals.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality care.
Follow regulatory standards and hospital protocols for patient care.
Team Collaboration:

Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to address patient needs.
Maintain communication among nursing teams to ensure continuity of care.
Safety and Documentation:

Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Adhere to infection-control policies, medication administration procedures, and confidentiality protocols.
Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and operate medical equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
Professional Development:

Stay updated with professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams.
Health Promotion and Disease Management:

Identify and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of chronic diseases.
Provide health promotion services such as dietary advice and smoking cessation support.
Patient Advocacy and Support:

Support patients in decision-making processes related to their healthcare.
Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Program Development and Evaluation:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs.
Be proactive in recognizing and addressing holistic health needs, including mental health.
Emergency Care and Caseload Management:

Assess clinical conditions and prioritize interventions, including emergency care.
Manage patient caseload, interpret test results, and take appropriate action.
Safeguarding Policies:

Adhere to safeguarding policies and implement them when necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Mandatory possession of a DHA License (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse.
Mandatory certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS/PALS Certification preferred.
Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Proficiency in the Arabic language is advantageous.
Excellent proficiency in computer literacy is required.

Minimum Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a practising Registered Nurse in a clinical setting, preferably in an accredited facility.
Job-Specific Skills:

Proficiency in acute/chronic disease management, including respiratory, cardiac conditions, and diabetes. Ability to implement and evaluate individual chronic disease care plans.
