Ensure competitive pricing and effective promotion strategies to enhance the value proposition of MAF while maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
Policy and Process Development:
Develop and refine pricing policies, procedures, and processes.
Manage pricing procedures, enhancing efficiency to adapt to market dynamics promptly.
New Product Pricing:
Collaborate closely with the sourcing team to determine optimal pricing for new products.
Assess feasibility and strategize pricing to align with business objectives.
Pricing Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor pricing strategies to achieve objectives.
Analyze financial impacts of pricing approaches and implement corrective measures as needed.
Private Label Management:
Ensure proper price positioning for Private labels through chaining and cloning strategies.
Team Performance Management:
Set annual objectives aligned with company and department targets for direct reports.
Conduct performance analyses and provide regular feedback to team members.
Identify high-potential employees, fostering their growth and development.
Recommend and oversee training initiatives, including on-the-job training.
Foster communication and participatory management within the team.
By overseeing pricing and promotion strategies, this role aims to optimize value for both the company and its customers, ensuring competitiveness in the market while maintaining profitability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management required
MBA in the same field preferred
3-5 years’ experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or analytical managerial roles
Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory
Demonstrated experience in people management, including leading and developing teams and enhancing capabilities
Proficiency in pricing, project management, and promotion management skills
