Cashier Job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Cashier is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing transactions using various payment methods while delivering exceptional customer service. This role also involves adhering to Cash Counter Office (CCO) policies and procedures to ensure all activities comply with the required guidelines.

Role Profile
Process Transactions: Scan items, register sales, and handle transactions using the appropriate payment methods.
Currency Management: Communicate proper rates and denominations of currencies to customers and conduct necessary security checks for currency.
Customer Assistance: Provide professional and timely assistance to customers, ensuring excellent service at all times.
Packaging: Pack scanned items efficiently to ensure speedy service for customers.
Feedback Communication: Relay customer feedback to appropriate channels to ensure necessary actions are taken.
Promotions: Promote additional sales and stay informed about all current promotions and advertisements.
Cash Unit Management: Install, check, manage, and return the cash unit at the end of each day.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
Adaptable in a multicultural environment.
Excellent listening skills.
High attention to detail.
