Understanding Client Needs: You’ll be the first line in reviewing tender documents to grasp the exact requirements of our clients.
Communication is Key: You’ll collaborate with Sales and Export departments to identify any discrepancies or clarifications needed in the tender documents.
Building the Best Solution: You’ll work closely with Operations, Estimation Engineers, and the Engineering Head to select the most suitable design, materials, brands, and equipment for each project.
Supplier Management: You’ll manage communication with suppliers by issuing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
Negotiation Ninja: You’ll negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and obtain technical clarifications as needed.
Maintaining Compliance: You’ll be responsible for maintaining and organizing submittal files, including ISO certificates, licenses, authorizations, and other relevant documentation.
Evaluation & Optimization: You’ll evaluate proposals from sub-component suppliers to recommend the most optimal solution for each project.
Proposal Powerhouse: You’ll be responsible for preparing key bid documents, including estimation sheets, commercial offers, technical specifications, drawings, and compliance sheets.
Adapting to Win: You’ll re-strategize pricing and proposals for lost or re-tendered projects, ensuring we stay competitive.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: You’ll be a supportive team player, handling the workload of team members during their absence.

In this unique role, you’ll report directly to the Director and play a key role in securing important projects by:
Leveraging Your Engineering Expertise: You’ll utilize your Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field to meticulously estimate the costs of fire fighting vehicles and similar products.
Industry Knowledge is Key: A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating fire fighting vehicles or similar products is essential. Prior experience in the automotive or fire fighting industry is a definite plus.
Standards Savvy: You’ll possess a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards to ensure our estimates meet all requirements.
Analytical Advantage: You’ll excel at using analytical and mathematical skills to create accurate and comprehensive estimates.
Communication is Key: You’ll have excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Independent & Multitasking Master: You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
