As the Data Analytics Lead in the Data and Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in driving and delivering BI and analytics solutions that create significant value for Al Futtaim Business. Your primary focus will be on advancing analytics maturity across all lines of business. This role involves close collaboration with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure that data and AI initiatives are aligned with Al Futtaim’s strategic roadmap.

What You Will Do:

Possess a deep understanding of various analytics processes to assist businesses in transforming their processes into analytical requirements.
Lead large-scale transformation projects alongside the project/program manager and represent the data team at senior management review meetings.
Define, plan, develop, and implement optimal business intelligence and big data/lakehouse applications across multiple complex projects, ensuring alignment with the existing architecture strategy.
As a senior participant in an agile team, guide internal and external teams to ensure timely business deliveries that meet expectations.
Required Skills for Success:

Extensive experience in data analytics engineering and delivery.
Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BI, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Spark, and SQL.
Deep understanding of lake house architecture, governance, and security controls.
Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, with experience in managing, designing, and optimizing databases for analytics.
Strong analytical skills for handling unstructured datasets and extracting meaningful insights from complex data structures.
What Equips You for the Role:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
SAP and Azure certifications are highly regarded and considered a significant advantage.
At least 15+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with a minimum of 12+ years in roles directly relevant to analytics and cloud solutions.
A minimum of 5+ years of implementation experience, overseeing the journey from conceptualization to delivering data analytics capabilities on the Azure platform.
Proven experience delivering analytics across multiple lines of business, such as retail, automotive, healthcare, corporate, and finance, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
