Job Overview:

As the primary contact for providing diagnostic support for an Electric Vehicle (EV) brand, you will handle technical and electrical issues, ensuring the availability of special tools, technical literature, and service bulletins at various locations. You will report all technical assistance needs and new vehicle concerns to the brand principal, raise technical reports, and advise on resolutions. Additionally, you will prepare Quality Case reports and submit them to the Technical Support Manager and the OEM.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support Visits and Reporting:

Conduct field visits to address technical issues.
Prepare and submit detailed technical support reports.
Validation and Remote Assistance:

Validate technical concerns raised by various locations.
Provide remote assistance to resolve technical issues.
Field Support and Issue Resolution:

Assist on-site with technical problems.
Prepare and submit technical information reports to the principal.
Follow up on submitted technical reports.
Escalation and Analysis:

Escalate unresolved issues to the Technical Support Manager.
Analyze failed parts and arrange for their shipment to the OEM.
Training and Equipment Management:

Provide on-the-job coaching to technical staff.
Manage software updates, equipment, and special tools.

Required Skills for Success:

In-depth understanding of various Electric Vehicle (EV) components and their powertrain systems.
Proficiency in modern diagnostic and repair methods for EV brands.
Strong skills in raising and documenting technical reports.
Experience with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) brands.
About the Team:

You will report to the Technical Support Manager, working to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in the automotive repair service field, with at least 3 years as a Master Technician in dealer service operations or equivalent.
Degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or extensive and specialized training in Electric Vehicles.
Strong knowledge of electronics, onboard diagnostics, and new generation vehicles, along with familiarity with modern diagnostic and repair methods.
