Job Title: Store Manager

Overview:
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving the performance of the store, focusing on growth and profitability, ensuring high customer satisfaction, maintaining merchandising standards, overseeing store operations, and developing the staff.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the performance of the store’s staff by recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining high-quality management and associates to fill store profiles and succession planning.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and delivering the customer experience while leading by example.
  • Organize weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap store performance, and to communicate new company goals and strategies, as well as new store procedures and performance targets.

  • Customer Experience through regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
    Maintain visibility on the selling floor to support all selling functions, answer customer questions, and ensure all visual merchandising standards, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store by driving sales, controlling expenses, optimizing payroll, minimizing shrink, and increasing conversion rates.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize store sales by analyzing customer trends, monitoring market conditions, and maintaining merchandising standards to control expenses and increase profitability.
  • Control company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures, managing inventory, in and out-bound stock movements, sales, returns, exchange, store maintenance, etc.
  • Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures
    Work with the Store Manager to drive sales, maximize profitability and develop a high-performing team
  • Support the Store Manager with recruitment, training, and development of store staff, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and delivering the customer experience.
  • Analyze sales performance and interpret complex reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest fashion industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity, and act upon this information to drive sales and profitability of the store
    Be willing to stand for a minimum of eight hours and perform some heavy lifting
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with a team, multitask, and adapt to a fast-changing environment

Job Description:
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness, controlling company assets, and complying with all company policies and store procedures. You will also work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, maximize profitability, and develop a high-performing team.

Desired Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should possess a high School education, Diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager, preferably in the fashion industry. The candidate should have a proven track record of driving sales and profit results and training and developing a team of individuals. Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and with a team, good adaptability, and multitasking abilities are crucial. The candidate should have a good command of business English, good computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and SAP, and detailed report analysis skills.
