Role Summary
The Deputy Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and developing store teams to maximize profitability. This role also ensures operational compliance, maintains the brand image, and delivers an outstanding customer experience. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Deputy will take charge of daily operations and workforce management in alignment with business objectives.

Role Profile
Customer Service Leadership: Guide the team in delivering exceptional customer service by understanding company/brand customer experience standards, individual customer needs, and current market trends.

Sales Performance: Motivate the store team to consistently provide the highest levels of customer service and take proactive steps to drive sales, focusing on achieving set KPI targets.

Customer Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Store Manager when necessary.

Sales Promotions Management: Oversee the implementation of sales promotions and brand activities, ensuring clear communication with relevant support teams to maximize sales opportunities.

Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, effectively managing any potential disruptions to the business.

Policy Compliance: Implement and uphold company policies and guidelines to minimize stock loss and damage.

Stock Count Coordination: Collaborate with the Excellence and Compliance Team to prepare and conduct stock counts in accordance with company policy.

  • Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or High School Certificate; qualification in a retail-related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in the industry.
  • Language Skills: Excellent to fluent English proficiency.
  • Teamwork: Must be a collaborative team player.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills are essential.
