We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical design, particularly for fire fighting systems. In this role, you will create work instructions and electrical schematics, leveraging your expertise in control systems and CAN BUS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop work instructions and electrical schematics with a focus on control systems and CAN BUS systems.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks) and MS Office effectively.
- Deliver designs according to project schedules.
- Interpret technical specifications and negotiate design details.
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team to determine the placement of electrical components on vehicles.
- Read and comprehend international standards for automotive design.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design, specifically for fire fighting systems.
- Experience in the fire protection industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
