We seek a driven, results-oriented Sales Engineer with expertise in the marine industry and/or power products. This role is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets within the designated area while driving business growth through strategic customer engagement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with after-sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and superior customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and profit goals for assigned products and regions.
  • Develop a detailed proposal incorporating technical specifications and commercial terms.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the marine and power products sectors.
  • Conduct regular customer interactions, including visits, meetings, and follow-ups with shipyards, fleet owners, and end users.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional support and assistance.
  • Monitor regional projects, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with aftersales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, power generators, and marine industry products.
  • Sales Experience: At least 5 years in sales within the diesel engines, power generation, or marine industries, including 2+ years in the GCC region.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities combined with strong business acumen.
  • Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of marine and power generation equipment, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to plan, organize, and execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Other Requirements: Valid UAE driving license; fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
