The Commercial Non-Airline Food Service division serves the hospitality industry by offering various food service products across multiple channels, including Distribution, Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR), Retail, Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes (HORECA). The division’s projected fiscal budget of AED 27 million for 2024-2025 is 12.5% higher than the previous year’s AED 24 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Achievement:
- Planned and executed sales initiatives to meet annual sales targets.
- Expand the customer base through targeted outreach, cold calling, and relationship management.
- Client Acquisition & Growth:
- Identify and pursue potential clients through market research, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Support business growth by developing new client relationships.
- Account Management & Revenue Collection:
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely payment collection and maintain detailed account activity records.
- Meet top-line sales objectives while maintaining agreed-upon gross profit margins.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Deliver tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the unique value of the company’s food products.
- Negotiate commercial terms and prepare proposals per company standards, ensuring mutual benefits.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain advisory relationships with key account stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to achieve objectives.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to align with company targets and market conditions.
- Industry Expertise:
- Leverage extensive knowledge of food service segments, including HORECA, QSR, FSR, distribution, and retail.
- Stay informed about new product development and market trends to communicate effectively with clients.
Role:
The Assistant Key Accounts Manager is critical in a dynamic, revenue-focused environment. The position emphasizes client retention, strategic distribution within the hotel segment, and targeted efforts across the HORECA, QSR, FSR, and Retail sectors. It requires a strong focus on sales, relationship management, and teamwork to achieve the projected growth of AED 27 million for 2024-2025, a 12.5% increase from the previous year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or Marketing.
Professional Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in food service sales, particularly within the UAE market.
- Proven track record in key account management and meeting annual sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the UAE food service industry and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of export procedures and ex-works terms is advantageous.
- Established client database and familiarity with diverse food service sectors, including HORECA and QSR.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in managing accounts to achieve sales objectives and maintain gross profit margins.
- Strategic implementation of sales initiatives to optimize business performance.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a collaborative mindset.
- Competence in MS Office and CRM software.
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Valid UAE driving license.
