Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the design and installation of fire-rated steel doors, ensuring adherence to local building codes and fire safety regulations.
- Perform detailed site assessments to determine feasibility and project requirements for fire-rated door installations.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate fire-rated doors into designs, balancing safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Develop, review, and manage project documentation for accurate implementation, including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality fire-rated steel doors and associated components.
- Coordinate communication among clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain project alignment and compliance.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports and presentations highlighting key milestones and developments to stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with expertise in structural design principles.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, particularly in constructing and installing fire-rated systems.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is highly preferred.
- Proven knowledge of fire-rated building materials and understanding of relevant fire safety codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex project challenges effectively.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting on-site inspections, including navigating construction sites.
