We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager—Research, Analysis, and Projects—to join our Finance team within the Automotive division. This role will report to the General Manager of Finance and will be critical in corporate budgeting, financial due diligence for diverse business areas, and supporting strategic initiatives. The position is based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting Support: Collaborate with the commercial business department to assist in the preparation of budgets.
- Financial Monitoring: Oversee and manage operating budgets, investigating variances and ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Month-End Reporting: Lead the month-end actual reporting process and manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning submissions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Group Finance and Automotive Financial Planning and Analysis teams to coordinate the Budget/Forecast process and establish key timelines.
- Budget Review: Review budgets by LE (Latest Estimate), Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow for various business units, divisions, and incubated companies.
- Budget Review & Allocation: Support budget challenge sessions and establish frameworks for cost recharges and allocations.
- Management Reporting: Assist in the management reporting process, ensuring consistency and clarity in financial communication.
- Business Performance: Conduct periodic business performance reviews and support controlling functions for various subsidiaries.
- Strategic Planning: Help develop strategic plans, assess projects, and analyze financial implications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to understand and challenge recharges and cost allocations, ensuring financial transparency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Qualified in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA in business.
- Experience: Over 7 years of relevant experience in financial management, Analysis, and reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with SAP ERP and SAP BPC systems.
- Project Management: Excellent skills in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Analytical Skills: High proficiency in complex financial modelling and Analysis.
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
