Job Title: Contract Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, ensuring adherence to legal standards and company policies.
  • Maintain a well-organized contract database to facilitate easy access, track renewal dates, and monitor critical milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, ensuring contracts accurately reflect the agreed terms.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on contract provisions, identify potential legal risks, and propose mitigating strategies.
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing contract management systems to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and obligations.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to staff, promoting contract best practices and efficient contract handling.
  • Support dispute resolution by gathering relevant documentation and analyzing contract terms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in legal principles.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract management or legal support within a corporate environment is preferred.
  • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM or CCM) is highly desirable, showcasing expertise in the field.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and contract management software to efficiently handle contract processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective negotiation and clear articulation of legal concepts.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards will be an advantage for success in this role.
