As a Branch Accountant, you will support the Accounts Manager in making crucial daily accounting decisions. Your role is vital in ensuring our operations’ financial health, accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing & Billing:
- Prepare invoices for Commercial Vehicles (CV) units and rental invoicing for Hino and Toyota Motors Handling Equipment (TMHE).
- Validate sales order conditions and account balances before invoicing.
- Issue gate passes for invoiced units.
- Coordinate with Central Finance regarding DP allocations, returns, and rebilling.
- Manage VAT refunds for export billing and submit export BOE in SAP.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and work closely with Business Managers on overdue accounts.
- Prepare monthly stock reconciliation and IND verification.
- Review AFSS reports and submit clearing transactions to AFSS.
- Financial Management:
- Calculate expected collections and provision releases.
- Manage Capex requests across all Hino and Toyota Motors Handling Equipment (TMHE) divisions.
- Review and analyze recovery and upselling accounts.
- Upload budgets into SAP/IFRP and generate upload files.
- Create and maintain upload tables for SAP.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Liaise with various Al Futtaim Group departments, including Central Finance, Group Legal, EIT, Admin, and HR.
- Assist with monitoring and managing general ledgers and balance sheet substantiation.
- Establish financial performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and create measurement dashboards.
- Prepare monthly dashboards for presentation and evaluate the financial impact of business decisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or an MBA in Finance.
- Experience & Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with a well-rounded skill set.
- Strong technical knowledge in finance processes, systems, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects).
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and BPC.
Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Branch Account Manager.
