We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to support the commercial expansion of our Freight Forwarding operations. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, and effectively managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and secure new clients, establishing a strong market presence for AFL in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Sales Performance: Achieve the annual sales targets as per the set budget.
- Client Retention: Ensure 100% customer retention by maintaining high levels of service and relationship management.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with other sales teams and global network partners to identify and pursue opportunities with international potential.
- Value-Added Selling: Drive business growth through consultative and solution-oriented sales strategies.
- Market Insights: Continuously evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance to refine strategies and identify opportunities or areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales and performance reports.
- System Processes: Support EDI process updates as required.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong background in international freight forwarding and an in-depth understanding of global trade and market dynamics.
- Expertise in the Abu Dhabi logistics and supply chain landscape, with knowledge of broader GCC/Middle East trade activities.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to influence key stakeholders and drive customer decisions.
- A strategic mindset combined with hands-on sales execution capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding industry, specifically within the Abu Dhabi market.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
Team Structure
Reporting directly to the Commercial Head of MENA, you will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to drive the region’s success.
