Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the FSSC I2P Tower Head and FSSC Head, the Invoice Processing Lead will oversee all aspects of invoice processing and intercompany payments within the Finance & Accounts domain, encompassing Statutory, Management, and Tax accounting for entities supported by the FSSC.

Key Duties:

Develop, oversee, and optimize daily financial processes including invoice processing, workload allocation, detection and resolution of accounting discrepancies, monitoring of overdue balances, generation of management information systems (MIS), coordination of audits, addressing technical accounting inquiries, and timely reporting.

Provide guidance, advice, and operational support to the team on both technical and procedural matters, ensuring adherence to established protocols and deadlines.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to team members.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end invoice processing, including both purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices for local third-party vendors across designated company codes.

Ensure compliance with VAT regulations for all local third-party invoices, obtaining necessary approvals prior to processing manual postings, and accurately assigning GL, cost center, and tax codes.

Proactively address blocked entries by sending correspondence to relevant stakeholders and update urgent payment printing files as needed.

Oversee Ariba manager approvals for assigned company codes and efficiently manage queries received via email or phone.

Ensure adherence to SLAs by facilitating timely processing of supplier invoices and tracking/reporting aged items exceeding 90 days.

Collaborate with business units to complete invoice verifications and process payments for principal vendors according to agreed credit terms and standing instructions.

Conduct reviews including advance payment, goods receipt invoice receipt (GRIR), debit balance, and vendor account zero balance assessments.

Validate invoices scanned as necessary by the validation team and ensure compliance with internal and financial controls.

Champion best practices and process enhancements within Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Financial Controlling domains.

Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and scrutinize general ledger entries for accuracy.

Leverage expertise in SAP invoice processing, including knowledge of relevant tcodes and underlying transaction processes.

Collaborate with IT demand management to automate reporting processes and ensure availability of real-time reports.

Meet daily processing targets and uphold internal controls, compliance, and financial processes within the FSSC

Required Skills:

Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP modules such as FICO, BPC, and BI, including experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring.

Previous experience in a Shared Service environment with a process-oriented mindset.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects).

Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirements, including VAT regulations and other regulatory guidelines.

Working knowledge of SAP and ability to navigate relevant modules effectively.

Exceptional analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

What Equips You for the Role:

Professional accounting qualification such as BBA Finance, BCom, Inter CA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Demonstrated expertise in core finance technical skills and a thorough comprehension of finance and accounting standards (IFRS), processes, infrastructure, and systems, especially within SAP FICO.

Outstanding coordination and stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams and levels.

5-7 years of comprehensive experience in accounts payable roles within the finance domain, providing a well-rounded understanding of financial operations and processes.
