Job Title: Automotive Production Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Dubai

We seek an experienced and meticulous Automotive Production Engineer (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will manage the electrical systems throughout the automotive production process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, high-quality standards, and optimal production efficiency. You will be a key player in troubleshooting, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the highest quality of electrical components used in production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design & Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for automotive production lines.
    Oversee the integration of electrical components into vehicles, ensuring they meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the R&D team to implement innovative technologies in production processes.
  • Process Optimization:
    Continuously evaluate and improve electrical systems and production processes. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, minimize downtime, and improve system performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
    Provide technical support for electrical issues encountered during production, diagnosing and resolving faults in circuits, components, and systems.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    Ensure all electrical systems meet both internal and external quality standards. Perform inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with automotive electrical specifications.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Create and maintain detailed documentation for electrical systems and components. Generate comprehensive reports on issues, improvements, and quality checks.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    Work closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems in the overall production process. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source electrical components and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within automotive production or a similar industry.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience with electrical circuit design, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Skills:
    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks) for electrical design and layout. Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
