The Marketing and Brand Manager is pivotal in crafting and executing impactful marketing and branding campaigns that boost brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster revenue growth. This role is crucial for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the City Centre brand’s presence and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement marketing and branding strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Brand Management: Develop and manage strategies related to brand positioning, identity, and architecture.
- Initiative Alignment: Design initiatives that support the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to craft targeted campaign strategies addressing consumer needs and preferences. Define target audiences, messaging, media channels, and tactics.
- Creative Direction: Provide creative guidance to agencies to ensure all creative assets, including campaigns, activations, and digital media, align with the brand’s tone, voice, and visual identity.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee campaign implementation, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery.
- Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Promotional Campaigns: Develop and execute promotional campaigns that align with the brand’s strategy. Collaborate with digital teams to produce engaging promotional materials, including sales promotions, social media content, and in-store promotions.
- Concept Development: Generate ideas that highlight the City Centre’s unique selling propositions and resonate with target audiences.
- Brief Creation: Develop detailed briefs outlining objectives, target audiences, messaging, creative direction, and channels for campaigns.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials, both digital and print, consistently reflect the brand’s tone, voice, and visual identity.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
- Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Media Relations: Manage media and advertising relationships, negotiating advertising spaces as needed.
- Digital Strategies: Develop and implement digital brand-building and innovation strategies.
Budget Oversight: Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring expenditures align with business objectives and deliver a positive ROI. - Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to maintain brand consistency and alignment across the organization.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and prepare reports that convey information clearly and concisely.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
- Market Research and Analysis: Expertise in conducting thorough market research and analysis to derive insights into consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

- Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
