Role Overview
In this position, you will ensure that checkout areas are clean and organized while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Key Responsibilities
• Customer Service: Provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience for all customers.
• SOP Compliance: Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash handling, including counting and recording the cash float before opening and after closing to minimize losses.
• Financial Duties
• Payment Processing: Handle payments via cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits, following the established cash handling procedures.
• Transaction Accuracy: Accurately compute and record all transactions, ensuring 100% precision at the register.
• Float Management: Count and document the cash float before trading begins and at the end of the trading day.
• Cash Security: Safeguard collected cash and ensure its proper custody at all times.

• Customer Responsibilities
• Customer Care: Ensure that all customers receive attentive service and their needs are met.
• Efficiency: Work diligently to minimize wait times and streamline the checkout process.
• Checkout Maintenance: Keep checkout areas clean and organized at all times.
