  • Key Responsibilities
    Leadership & Inspiration: Guide and motivate the Visual Merchandising and Interior Design teams, fostering their skills in visual merchandising and range presentation to reinforce the distinctive IKEA identity within our stores.
  • Inspiring Presentations: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising/Activity teams to design engaging range presentations that reflect real-life home activities, ensuring seasonal relevance aligned with commercial initiatives.
  • Vitality Calendar Management: Oversee the implementation of the Vitality Calendar, ensuring a comprehensive approach to planning store media that aligns with commercial goals and coordinating with the Sales Activity Manager for effective follow-up.
  • Commercial Contributions: Actively participate in the store’s Commercial CAT team, executing strategies to implement promotional activities that support business growth and align with the Vitality/Activity calendar.
  • Regional Collaboration: Engage with the regional Visual Merchandising Leaders network, sharing insights and tools with local teams to enhance our visual merchandising approach.
  • Brand Identity Assurance: Uphold IKEA’s unique identity and brand consistency in range presentations and store communications, differentiating IKEA from competitors while leading the Vitality calendar and store activities.
  • Sales Optimization: Support local marketing efforts, driving traffic to the store by implementing the commercial calendar and collaborating with the Com&In and Marketing teams to finalize marketing details.
  • Event Coordination: Partner with various departments to organize Vitality/Activity meetings and execute local initiatives, including new product launches and seasonal events.
  • Customer Insights: Collect data and conduct surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Communication Channels: Develop and maintain effective communication methods (e.g., Intranet, newsletters) to disseminate key messages and updates to co-workers.
  • Crisis Management Support: Assist store management in crisis situations by creating essential communication materials and FAQs.
  • Co-worker Engagement: Identify co-worker target groups and ensure their information needs are addressed.
  • IKEA FAMILY Promotion: Support all initiatives related to IKEA FAMILY, collaborating with departments to ensure the concept and its benefits are well-communicated and visible throughout the store.
  • Ongoing Offer Management: Ensure the IKEA FAMILY shop is consistently well-maintained and implements local commercial activities, including seminars and workshops.
  • Membership Growth: Work closely with the IKEA FAMILY team to brainstorm and implement new ideas to boost membership.
  • Coordination with Marketing: Collaborate with the Com&In and Marketing teams at the Service Office to support national marketing initiatives that align with the Vitality/Activity calendar.
  • Project Execution: Assist in the delivery of projects that support the overall Marketing business plan.

  • Qualifications for the Role
    Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related field, ideally within retail marketing or an IKEA store environment.
  • Multitasking & Team Spirit: Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities while working collaboratively with others.
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong skills in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
