The Commercial Manager oversees buyer coordination and procurement support for MAF Retail. They play a pivotal role in product selection and evaluation for in-store, catalogue, and online offerings.
Position Profile:
Develop and execute efficient sourcing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Evaluate and research new products to align with company objectives.
Manage purchase order details and monitor deliveries.
Identify and recommend new suppliers to enhance cost-effectiveness and product quality.
Utilize data analysis to mitigate shortages and overstocking, implementing control measures accordingly.
Source high-quality products at competitive prices in line with organizational goals.
Employ negotiation tactics to secure favorable deals.
Conduct cost scenario analyses and benchmarking for sourcing operations as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in the dairy industry is essential.
Proficiency in business communication, negotiation, and presentation.
Strong teamwork and time management abilities.
Aptitude for decision-making and numerical analysis.
