Job Summary:
We are seeking a proficient 3D Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and refining 3D models using SolidWorks software. Collaborating closely with various teams, you’ll ensure that our product designs meet technical requirements, undergo feasibility studies, and adhere to quality standards. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing designs for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness while providing technical support throughout production.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize SolidWorks software to design and develop 3D models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product designs.
Perform engineering analysis and feasibility studies to validate design concepts.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
Test and evaluate prototypes to verify design performance.
Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Attend job kick-off meetings and liaise with engineering teams.
Review and understand project requirements from both engineering and sales perspectives.
Finalize preliminary drawings and calculations in consultation with the Senior Design Engineer.
Prepare project-related documents including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculations.
Collaborate with departments to resolve design, materials, or production-related issues.
Participate in material procurement processes and inspections.
Provide technical assistance in customer and supplier discussions as needed.
Conducted reviews of completed projects and reported findings to the senior design engineer.
Update the CAD system with changes and as-built drawings.
Attend engineering, design review, and production meetings as required.
Assist Sales/Estimation departments with technical support.
Assist the Operations department with as-built and construction specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
Minimum 3 years of experience in design engineering.
Certification in SolidWorks or relevant CAD software is preferred.
Experience in the manufacturing or product development industry is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
