We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draughtsman with a solid background in mechanical engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT 3D, and have hands-on experience with various calculation and piping software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical components and systems.
- Manage design projects independently, including coordination of drawings and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Provide accurate estimations for fire fighting systems.
- Translate rough sketches and verbal instructions into precise technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to understand and implement project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on stakeholder feedback.
- Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation.
- Assist in preparing engineering reports and documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
- Stay current with advancements in drafting technology and software.
- Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy throughout the drafting process.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a draughtsman within the mechanical industry.
- Proven experience working on projects in the manufacturing or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think critically and address complex design challenges independently.
