Electric Vehicle Technician Job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Role Overview
As an EV Technician, your primary responsibility is to repair and service customer vehicles according to BYD’s standards. Using advanced diagnostic tools, you will identify and address issues efficiently, adhering to the “Fix It Right First Time” process. Your role is critical in delivering a superior customer experience and enhancing customer retention while maintaining compliance with BYD’s quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and service on customer vehicles.
• Carry out minor repairs with a strong focus on maintaining quality.
• Accurately complete job cards and provide cost estimates for additional repair or service requests.
• Conduct final vehicle inspections in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure accurate timekeeping by promptly punching in and out to log work hours.
• Meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targets.
  Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with high and low-voltage EV systems and components.
• Certification in EV maintenance (IMI Level 1 or 2 or equivalent) is a priority advantage.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to EV repairs.
• Awareness of the latest advancements in EV technology.
  Team Structure
• Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will operate within a dynamic and fast-paced EV workshop environment.
• What You Bring to the Role
• Technical certification such as a diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience as an EV Technician, preferably in a retail automotive setting.
• A valid UAE driving license (preferred).
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
