Job Overview:
We seek a skilled and results-driven Export Sales Manager to lead and grow our international sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our market presence globally, building strong relationships with international clients, and driving sales through strategic initiatives. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, deep market knowledge, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Create and execute a comprehensive export sales strategy to increase the company’s global footprint.
- Identify high-potential markets and regions by analyzing industry trends, customer demands, and competitive dynamics.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and engage potential clients in international markets to generate new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders worldwide.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with international clients, ensuring favorable agreements for both parties.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- To ensure smooth operations, keep up with global trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance standards.
- Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate the success of sales strategies to meet or exceed export targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Networking & Trade Show Participation:
- Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events, promoting the brand and expanding the network.
- Attend international business meetings and conferences to foster relationships and gain market insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in export sales or international business development.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in an international trade environment.
- Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of global trade logistics, regulations, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Languages: Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
