We’re looking for a driven and seasoned Regional Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of our Real Estate division. This position entails ensuring precise and timely financial reporting, establishing robust financial controls, and collaborating closely with business executives to enhance financial procedures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Standards:

  • Lead preparation of accurate and timely statutory and management financial reports (standalone and consolidated) for a complex legal structure.
  • Ensure consistent application of IFRS across all real estate entities.
  • Oversee audit reviews and implement strategies for regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Govern financial master data activities across real estate businesses.

Financial Control & Risk Management:

  • Establish and enforce a robust financial control framework for real estate operations.
  • Identify and implement additional financial controls to optimize risk management.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of Intercompany balances to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Process Optimization & Automation:

Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and resource allocation.

Real Estate Holding Companies:

  • Manage financial aspects of Real Estate Holding Companies.
  • Lead rationalization of legal entities, enhancing compliance and reducing business risks.
  • Maintain control over consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Deliver financial reports and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with business leaders in the Real Estate division, providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • Preferably have experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • CPA qualification would be advantageous.
  • Essential previous experience in the Real Estate industry.
  • Experience in Construction and/or Facilities Management is beneficial.
  • Involvement in implementing Financial IT systems is a plus.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Over 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting and audit management.
