The Business Lead’s primary role is to discover and capitalize on opportunities that enhance market presence, elevate market standing, and foster revenue growth in line with the company’s overarching market access strategy. This position entails cultivating relationships with pivotal stakeholders, scrutinizing market trends, and executing strategies to overcome regulatory and access obstacles.

Additionally, the Business Lead will pinpoint, assess, and finalize organic, greenfield, and acquisition-driven opportunities and collaborations. This aims to extend the capability and solutions of “Market Access” into fresh markets, with new partners, categories, and distribution channels.

Our focus on the Healthcare vertical involves collaborating closely with producers and brand owners to expand market presence and enhance growth opportunities. Leveraging our extensive network spanning seven global regions, including emerging markets in Africa, Central Asia, East Europe, and Southeast Asia, we aim to forge lasting business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Opportunity Exploration: Partnering with the Global EVP Market Access to identify and capitalize on strategic solutions within specific industries.
Solution Development: Co-creating tailored solutions that optimize market reach and growth potential, utilizing DP World’s resources effectively.
Commercial Strategy: Developing and refining commercial models in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver superior solutions.
Resource Planning: Identifying and deploying talent and resources essential for executing industry-specific initiatives globally.
Best Practice Sharing: Establishing and disseminating best practices across regions to enhance operational excellence.
Customer Engagement: Providing comprehensive account management and visibility frameworks to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Performance Evaluation: Reviewing financial, commercial, and operational metrics to exceed customer expectations.
Business Development: Actively pursuing growth opportunities through organic expansion, joint ventures, or acquisitions.
Product Innovation: Ensuring Market Access offerings remain relevant and competitive by adapting to evolving market demands.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in business or a relevant field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in Market Access.
Global Industry Leads should possess deep expertise within their specific industry.
Previous experience in commercial management and profit & loss responsibilities within a large company in the respective industry.
Proven track record in navigating and developing business within emerging markets, demonstrating the ability to establish new markets successfully.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong team orientation with a collaborative approach, capable of contributing effectively to multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to driving continuous process improvements.
Experience in presenting to senior management, conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
