Key Accountabilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and Execute Global Strategy: Create and support the implementation of the global contract logistics strategy in alignment with DP World’s overall objectives from a capability and operational perspective.
Leadership: Provide strong leadership to regional and local teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
Implement KPIs: Establish and monitor Global key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the health and success of the Contract Logistics business.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the contract logistics industry.
Industry Thought Leadership: Build and maintain a position as an industry thought leader in the contract logistics capability.

Key Accountabilities:
Operational Excellence:
Global Capability Sharing and Expansion: Distribute existing capabilities globally across all DP World operating regions and expand them to meet the evolving market demands.
Process Streamlining and Enhancement: Optimize and improve global contract logistics processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Best Practices Implementation: Oversee the implementation and adherence to best practices in contract logistics, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Innovation and Automation: Lead the innovation agenda to implement automation initiatives.
Collaboration with IT: Work with the IT team to implement fit-for-purpose Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across DP World.
Client Relationship Management:
Strengthen Client Relationships: Enhance relationships with clients from an operational and capability perspective, understanding their needs and ensuring our contract logistics solutions exceed their expectations.
Collaboration for Growth: Partner with the sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing client accounts.
Financial Management:
Budget Development and Guidance: Collaborate with regional teams to develop and guide the budget for contract logistics operations, ensuring cost control and meeting financial performance targets.

Risk Management and Compliance:
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks associated with global contract logistics operations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant international regulations and industry standards.
General Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and inspire an engaged team, providing direction and fostering collaboration to achieve business goals and objectives.
Promotion of Values: Promote and exemplify positive behaviors consistent with DP World’s values and culture.
Safety Assurance: Ensure the highest levels of safety are upheld in all activities.
Ethical Standards: Understand and adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: Over 15 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, with extensive tenure in Contract Logistics.
Leadership: Proven senior leadership experience in global contract logistics.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, market trends, and emerging technologies.
Strategic Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong internal and external relationships.
Continuous Improvement: Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
Confidentiality: Uphold confidentiality of company data at all times.
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Travel: Flexibility to travel globally 30-50% of the time.
Languages: Fluent in English, additional languages beneficial.
