Role Overview:
As the Golf Course Superintendent, your primary responsibility is the meticulous upkeep, efficient operation, and practical golf course management. Your overarching objective is to maintain the course pristine, delivering a top-tier playing surface for golfers to enjoy. Your duties encompass overseeing daily operations and maintenance activities, including operations management, personnel supervision, irrigation system oversight, lake maintenance, and the management of golf course machinery.

Ensure impeccable playing conditions by meticulously managing mowing, watering, and maintenance across all course areas, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.

Lead turf management efforts, overseeing planting, fertilization, and pest control activities while supervising regular maintenance of course machinery and irrigation systems.

Efficiently procure materials within budgetary constraints, strategize renovations, and meticulously document operational activities to optimize resource utilization.

Recruit, train, and oversee a skilled workforce, prioritizing safety protocols and machinery efficiency while providing ongoing guidance and support for daily tasks.

Conduct thorough inspections, monitor performance metrics, and promptly address any issues, fostering transparent communication with clients, staff, and management to drive continuous improvement.

Effectively manage projects, maintain inventory, track work hours, and collaborate closely with clients and support teams to achieve mutual objectives promptly.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in golf course maintenance, with at least 5 years specifically in golf course or turf management, ideally in roles such as Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.

Key Competencies:
Extensive knowledge of golf course construction and maintenance practices.
Proficiency in turf management, encompassing expertise in fertilizers and pest control methods.
Understanding of drainage, irrigation systems, and management of lake water quality.

Abilities:
Exceptional communication skills in English, facilitating effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
Supervisory solid skills coupled with adept problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in budget management and task delegation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, Landscape, or Agriculture Management.
