Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive operation and maintenance manuals for projects.
- Centralize technical documentation related to vehicles, including spare parts lists, drawings, and other relevant materials.
- Manage the receipt and recording of all catalogues for individual projects from stores.
- Maintain a detailed schedule for releasing catalogues prior to unit dispatch.
- Collaborate with Design and Electrical Engineers to integrate project-specific operational details and special conditions into manuals.
- Participate in product testing to gain in-depth understanding of unit operations.
- Draft operation manuals for review by the Quality Control (QC) team before vehicle testing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Consolidate all catalogues and manuals for final submission to the QC department at the project’s conclusion.
- Conduct photoshoots of vehicles and their components for manual development.
- Design control panel decals and coordinate their production for manufacturing needs.
- Finalize and deliver completed manuals (hard copies and digital formats) to the QC department.
- Use graphic design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to create visually appealing manuals and decals.
- Develop clear and user-friendly technical procedures and operational instructions.
Desired Candidate Profile: - Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: - 3–5 years in technical writing or documentation management.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools for technical writing and graphic design (e.g.,
- Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, MS Office).
Key Skills: - Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency in technical content.
- Proficiency in technical writing, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
- Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development processes.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage concurrent projects.
Other Requirements: - Knowledge of mechanical systems and operations is essential.
