Job Description:

We seek a Senior Manager for Communications Planning & Operations to drive the development and execution of a cohesive Global Reputation and Brand Plan in collaboration with Headquarters Centers of Excellence and Regional Communications Teams. Based in Dubai, this role ensures the global alignment of strategies and actions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Led the Project Management Office (PMO) for the annual global communications planning process, ensuring adherence to common formats, timelines, and milestones.
Enhance project planning and management processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster collaboration among external agency partners to establish common working methods, facilitating Inter-Agency Team operations.
Facilitate information exchange between Headquarters and Regional Communications teams to ensure alignment and coherence in messaging and strategy.
Organize and lead meetings between Headquarters and Regional teams, setting agendas and reporting on decisions and outcomes.
Maintain open communication and awareness of communications planning and implementation status with relevant internal stakeholders.
Support Headquarters Communications Operations & Planning in maintaining and evolving the global operating model.
Ensure effective evaluation and measurement of communications investments.
Drive continuous innovation and improvement in professional capabilities within the Communications function worldwide.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Alignment:

Understand and uphold Group Strategy, focusing on enhancing capabilities and establishing DP World as a leading provider of end-to-end logistics solutions.
Ensure alignment with DP World Brand Purpose and global master architecture.
Develop and oversee the Global Communications Strategy to support business and brand objectives.
Facilitate the exchange of planning information between Headquarters (HO) and Regional Communication Teams to ensure consistency and identify synergies.
Drive effectiveness in project planning activities and foster integration among external agency partners.
Schedule and facilitate meetings, report outcomes, and integrate inputs into a coherent Global Plan with measurable objectives and budget allocations.
Maintain awareness of the overall Plan and its progress among key internal stakeholders.
Lead Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure integrated project management across Group Communications.
Monitor Communication activities, identify potential shortfalls, and propose corrective actions.
Foster collaboration across the global Communications function by sharing successes, circulating relevant data and insights, etc.
Planning:

Lead the development of the Annual Global Communications Reputation and Brand Plan.
Implementation:

Support HO and Regional Communication teams in effectively and efficiently implementing the Plan.
Measurement:

Create and report on a high-level metrics dashboard to measure the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of Communication activities against KPIs.
Track progress in enhancing positive attitudes toward DP World among targeted stakeholders.
Monitor the impact of positive attitudes on business performance.
Tactical Responsiveness:

Maintain flexibility to respond to unforeseen changes, including short-term opportunities, unanticipated issues or problems, and crisis management.
Test and validate new ideas and approaches, drawing from external learning and experience.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
7+ years of experience in brand and/or communications departments, preferably internationally.
Previous experience in project management is essential.
Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask effectively and remain composed under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in communication and teamwork, with sensitivity to cross-cultural differences and a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Optimistic attitude, proactive mindset, and a strong team player.
Professional demeanor and ability to represent the department and DP World as a brand ambassador.
Tertiary level education with high proficiency in spoken and written English.
