Position Overview:
Located at Dubai Airports within Emirates lounges, this role combines operational and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Despite being office-based, it involves substantial walking due to the extensive facility. The position requires a 45-hour workweek, with occasional travel for recruitment activities.

Job Purpose:
The primary goal is to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards and ensure a luxurious environment in designated facilities. This involves supervising staff, coordinating resources, and prioritizing outstanding customer experiences. The role also includes implementing innovative cleaning practices and managing human resources activities to develop a skilled and motivated team.

Key Result Areas:

Communicate regularly with all relevant teams to ensure lounge facilities are impeccably maintained, enhancing customers’ luxury experience.
Develop and oversee a comprehensive cleaning schedule for all areas, ensuring consistent cleanliness standards throughout the lounges.
Ensure all housekeeping staff are equipped with proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms, facilitating efficient operations and maintaining high presentation standards.
Direct daily housekeeping operations, maintaining and improving high cleaning standards in washrooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with sourcing teams and external consultants to stay updated on the latest cleaning materials and equipment, positioning the department as an industry trendsetter.
Develop and present the annual housekeeping budget for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), outlining a strategic plan for departmental growth and efficiency.
Manage controllable expense budgets within the department’s P&L, aiming to meet or exceed targets while maintaining service quality.
Conduct regular housekeeping meetings to encourage effective feedback and continuous improvement within the team.
Address guest problems and complaints promptly, enhancing service performance and emphasizing guest satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs, establish training programs for team development, and participate in performance appraisals and recruitment processes.
Support employee welfare initiatives to maintain a motivated and efficient workforce.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Housekeeping Management.
Work Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort setting.
In-depth knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
