Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Quality Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures and checklists to optimize the inspection process and drive operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed testing of HVAC systems, including assessing airflow, pressure, and temperature, to verify system performance and efficiency.
- Reviewing and analyzing technical documentation such as design plans and equipment specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions, ensuring these documents are readily accessible for audits and reviews.
- Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging HVAC technologies to improve quality control practices and ensure compliance.
- Actively participating in project meetings, offering quality-related insights and recommendations to improve overall project execution and system performance.
Desired Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required for a strong foundation in HVAC systems.
- Certification in HVAC quality control (e.g., ASHRAE or LEED) is preferred to demonstrate expertise in industry standards and best practices.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC quality control or system inspection, ensuring practical knowledge and strong problem-solving abilities.
