We seek a skilled individual to join our team as a Hydraulic Systems Engineer specializing in fire truck design. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing hydraulic systems for fire trucks. Your duties will include conducting thorough hydraulic calculations and simulations to ensure optimal system performance, adherence to industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating hydraulic-related material lists and drawings and interpreting project specifications to meet hydraulic requirements. Preparing hydraulic materials lists for projects (BOQ) will also be one of your responsibilities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with certification in Hydraulic Engineering or a relevant discipline. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience designing hydraulic systems specifically for fire trucks. Strong technical proficiency in hydraulic system design and analysis and excellent project management and communication skills are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial for success in this role. Additionally, physical fitness for field tests and evaluations is required.
