Install and maintain lighting fixtures, motors, and other electrical equipment.
Provide training and guidance to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
Perform routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly.
Candidate Profile:
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions.
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training in industrial electrical work.
Journeyman or master electrician certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician.
Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
