As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for visually presenting the IKEA product range in the Furniture Showroom. Your designs, presentations, and communications must align with IKEA’s standards and create an inspiring environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial:
- Assist in planning in-house projects and prepare drawings and perspectives per the IKEA Concept.
- Implement and maintain interior displays throughout the showroom.
- Conduct daily inspections of the showroom to identify and immediately address any damages.
- Support the planning and execution of the store’s commercial calendar.
- Ensure all areas of the showroom adhere to IKEA standards.
- Follow IKEA manuals to create functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
Operational:
- Participate in store-related projects, including business area adjustments based on feedback or performance issues.
- Provide support to Visual Merchandisers for planned activities and projects within the store.
Customer Engagement:
- Showcase the range of IKEA products to customers, offering ideas and proposals for different rooms in their homes, with a focus on living spaces.
- Plan and decorate room setups that inspire customers and provide practical home furnishing solutions.
- Assist customers in finding solutions tailored to their individual home needs.
Key Skills for Success:
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Strong design and creative abilities.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
- Excellent skills in drafting, space planning, and interior/architectural design.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of home furnishings, market trends, and social influences.
