Position Summary:
As the designated role, you will be accountable for overseeing and optimizing operational efficiency through the following responsibilities:

Conducting ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 audits on facilities, generating comprehensive conditional surveys, and formulating energy conservation strategies.
Monitoring utility consumption closely, analyzing facility trends to establish baseline metrics, and crafting Investment Grade Audit reports accordingly.
Developing cost sheets detailing expenses associated with energy conservation initiatives.
Drafting Statements of Work (SOW) for the tendering process of retrofit packages.
Compiling monthly Measurement & Verification (M&V) reports for contracted facilities.
Facilitating progress meetings with clients to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
Your role encompasses strategic auditing, financial planning, tendering support, and client engagement to drive sustainable energy practices and operational excellence.

What you will do:
Works Management:
Conducted site audits and prepared investment-grade audit reports.
Preparation of SOWs for tendering retrofit packages and finalization of vendors
Implementation of energy conservation measures was set out in the investment grade audit.
Preparation of Monthly M&V reports for Ongoing Projects.

Contract Management:
Oversee the execution of all contracted work, ensuring strict adherence to contract terms and conditions. Monitor timelines closely and proactively identify potential issues impacting project performance or completion.

Supply Chain Management:
Manage sub-contractors and consumables daily, overseeing their activities and ensuring optimal performance. Implement strategies to monitor and improve sub-contractor performance while maximizing contract value.

Service Standards:
Enforce expected service standards among providers and sub-contractors, emphasizing adherence to proper health and safety standards throughout all project phases.

Reporting:
Generate regular and ad hoc reports to keep management fully informed about operational issues, facilitating proactive decision-making and effective oversight.

Required Skills for Success:

Job Specific Skills:

Comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services, encompassing HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical distribution across various building types and facilities.
Proficiency in conducting energy audits for facilities, devising energy conservation strategies, implementing measures, and preparing thorough measurement and verification reports to realize committed energy savings.
Experience in conducting feasibility studies for solar retrofits, including preparing feasibility reports and successfully implementing retrofit projects where applicable.
Proficient in drafting tender documents for contractor solicitation and adept at liaising with pertinent government agencies as necessary.
Capable of conducting thorough gap and risk assessments, followed by the development and execution of action plans to mitigate identified risks effectively.

Qualifications and Expertise Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
Possession of a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) qualification.
Requisite Experience:

2-4 years of pertinent experience in ESCO Projects within the UAE.
Proficiency in conducting audits on equipment and energy analysis.
