Job Role:
The Landscape Engineer role is within the Community Management function. The position is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day landscaping and irrigation operations, maintenance and management. Landscaping is one of the most important features of the community and plays a vital role in providing positive customer experience, wellbeing, environment, and sustainability of our communities. The role requires dynamic management, engineering and technical competencies, handling of internal and external stakeholders, customers, vendors, service providers, contractors and related parties who are directly or indirectly contribute to successful management of MAF communities.

Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and execute with service providers, contractors, sub-contractors, project management teams and relevant stakeholders on maintenance contracts, PPM schedules, monthly reports, SLAs and KPIs, weather conditions and continuous improvement plans (as applicable).
Inspects all Maintenance Packages by checking monthly activity reports/PPM schedules.
Identify and execute opportunities for sustainable landscaping and irrigation based on best industry practices and innovative solutions in the market.
Project manage small to large scale projects as maybe required from time to time.
Carry out landscaping transition and turnover services to ensure smooth handover and operations from contractors and project management teams.
Carry out inspection requests related to site clearance, excavation & disposal, irrigation mains & sub mains laying, and installation of solenoid valves & controllers are attended to in a timely manner.
Coordinate with relevant government entities related to landscape and irrigation.
Identify ways to reduce landscaping waste and promote sustainable practices on related waste management.
Prepare appropriate inspection criteria and PPM’s for overall master community, sub communities, show villas and other retained assets for hard and soft landscaping.
Carry out routine and periodic inspections to keep upkeep, quality, cleanliness of hard and soft landscaping along with irrigation requirements.
Prepare appropriate irrigation schedules and water allocation based on zoning, plants and community requirements.
Supervise day to day operations of service providers.

Service Provider Performance Management:
Conduct monthly meetings with service provider and relevant stakeholders on contract performance and create and action item list to ensure timely execution of key tasks and decisions.
Develop service level agreements, key performance indicators for landscaping and irrigation maintenance.
Carry out service provider performance management in organized manner through site inspections, technical audits, performance audits and industry best practices.

Assist with customers’ home improvement process related to soft and hard landscaping.
Ensure all complaints and requests from customers are attended to and closed within pre-approved SLAs and KPIs.
Customer Complaint and Request Management:
Lead, attend, coordinate and execute complaints from customers related to common area landscape maintenance.

Administration:
Assist in reviewing concept drawings & technical submittals for new developments based on operational requirements.
Develop scope of services for Tendering of Landscape & Irrigation Maintenance.
Carry out technical evaluation for service providers’ tenders.
Provide input on budgeting processes related to landscaping and irrigation maintenance.
Maintain records of maintenance and prepare periodic and ad hoc activity reports, as required.
Prioritize and plan tasks to complete tasks within set deadlines.
Prepare detailed reports for all landscaping and maintenance activities based on site inspections, technical audits, performance audits, action plans etc.

Minimum Academic Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as PMP, CFM, FMP or other technical areas preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in hard and soft landscaping maintenance, construction or consultancy
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Horticulture/Landscaping or Agricultural Sciences
