The position requires a sales engineer with a strong focus on achieving results, particularly within the marine industry and/or power products sector. Responsibilities include meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) within the designated area, collaborating with the aftersales, logistics, and finance teams, and engaging in cross-functional activities to ensure success.

Your responsibilities will include:
Spearheading sales efforts to meet and exceed sales and profit goals in designated territories and product lines.
Crafting comprehensive proposals encompassing technical specifications and commercial terms.
Scouting for potential leads within the marine and power products sectors and translating them into viable business prospects.
Maintaining an active presence in the market by proactively engaging in visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, including shipyards, fleet owners, and end users.
Cultivating and nurturing strong rapport with customers while delivering ongoing support and assistance.
Remaining abreast of regional projects, industry trends, and competitor activities to ensure competitiveness and relevance.

Key skills necessary for success include:
Proficiency in English communication; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Strong technical acumen in marine and power generator systems.
Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
Aptitude for strategic thinking to drive business objectives.
Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.

Qualifications for the role:
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales within diesel engines, power generation, or the marine industry, with at least two years in the GCC region.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Marine, or a related field.
Demonstrated technical and sales expertise in diesel engines, power generators, or the marine industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and business skills.
