Job Overview:

This role primarily involves performing dealership services on customer vehicles in accordance with company standards, ensuring optimal quality, increased productivity, and technical efficiency. The aim is to individually contribute to generating workshop revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance services on customer vehicles.
  • Address minor repair tasks without compromising on quality.
  • Accurately complete all job cards provided.
  • Provide cost estimates for additional services requested by customers.
  • Conduct final inspections according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Achieve desired efficiency and productivity levels as per targets.
  • Ensure timely clocking in and out to record accurate booking hours.
  • Complete required training courses, internal assessments, and on-the-job training as scheduled by the Training Manager.
  • Enroll in and complete certification programs as per the principal’s guidelines.
  • Prepare for and participate in annual skills contests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Proven technical experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience working in an automotive dealership or service workshop.
  • Practical workshop experience.
  • ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership setting.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in English.

Team Structure:

  • This role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and works closely with the workshop team.
