Position Title:
Project Engineer – Site Supervision Lead
Job Description:
As the lead of the site supervision team, the Project Engineer oversees the execution of pre-defined designs for IT, ELV, and AV infrastructure projects. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, they ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects until completion. With a focus on implementing designed systems at customer locations, the Project Engineer holds a supervisory position over the onsite project team, as determined by project requirements and scope.

Your Responsibilities:
Efficiently plan and organize site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
Implement ICT/ELV/AV projects at customer locations, ensuring both basic and detailed execution.
Manage day-to-day site operations, overseeing internal and outsourced workforce.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, planners, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Review and manage project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate record-keeping and safe archiving.
Validate design plans, drawings, and quantities for construction compatibility.
Participate in design review meetings, offering input and coordinating with relevant teams for any necessary changes.
Guide designers and draftsmen in preparing project-related drawings and plans.
Serve as a technical advisor, offering guidance to installation and commissioning teams and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Ensure implementation compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Manage inventory and coordinate material delivery to the site, maintaining accurate records.
Supervise testing and commissioning activities.
Generate variations and proposals for new project requirements, coordinating with sales and presales departments.
Provide project progress reports and seek assistance for encountered problems.
Assist in estimating, preparing, and submitting project claims.

Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in construction and installation activities within the construction sector.
Proficiency in commissioning various ICT/ELV/AV systems.
Technical training and certifications in leading ICT/ELV/AV Systems.
Expertise in ICT/ELV/AV industry standards, practices, procedures, and regulations.
Familiarity with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Quality Control (QC) processes.
Strong knowledge of networks, installation, testing, and integration of ICT/ELV/AV systems.
Proficient in basic network implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
Adaptive to changing demands and requirements.
Experience in construction management.
Thorough understanding of project execution processes.
Familiarity with local codes of practice and international standards for design implementation.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (IT, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Possession of a UAE Driving License.

Minimum Experience:
3-5 years of relevant work experience in ICT/ELV project implementation, including Structured cabling, ICT, ELV, Security, AV, etc
