Job Title: E-commerce Merchandiser – Fashion

Role Overview:

We seek a driven and detail-oriented E-commerce Merchandiser – Fashion to manage product content, digital merchandising, and promotional activities across our fashion e-commerce platforms. This role is crucial in enhancing customer experience, increasing conversions, and translating the brand’s identity into a compelling digital journey across online and third-party platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce operations, a strong eye for fashion merchandising, and the commercial acumen to drive sales performance and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Merchandising:

  • Upload and manage fashion product listings across websites and mobile apps using e-commerce platforms.
  • Maintained and optimized category listings and merchandising layouts.
  • Analyze and report on weekly sales performance across products and categories.
  • Ensure product images and descriptions meet brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Coordinate with photography and design teams to ensure all assets are on-brand and optimized for online display.

Customer Experience & Conversion:

  • Identify areas for customer journey improvement and implement enhancement plans.
  • Support content publishing for homepages, landing pages, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless integration of best practices for a practical online-to-offline shopping experience.
  • Collaborate on UX improvements and digital content strategies that boost engagement and retention.

Data & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed reports on performance, conversion rates, and user behavior.
  • Conduct regular audits of product catalogs to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Monitor inventory across GCC platforms and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve gaps.
  • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to identify trends and new opportunities.

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Support marketing campaigns with actionable sales insights and performance analysis.
  • Assist with SEO and PPC strategies to drive traffic and visibility.
  • Planned and implemented promotional activities and tracked campaign success metrics.
  • Keep the e-commerce site dynamic with updated banners, blog content, and seasonal campaigns.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Build effective partnerships with internal teams in buying, marketing, and creative areas.
  • Liaise with external vendors and digital partners to ensure the timely execution of deliverables.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to align merchandising strategy with business goals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on sales and performance metrics.
  • Excellent product selection, visual merchandising, and digital content sense.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, particularly fulfillment and post-purchase behavior.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of key digital marketing KPIs and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in both e-tail and retail environments.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify or a similar CMS is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in an e-commerce or digital merchandising role, ideally within a fashion or multi-channel retail environment.
  • Proven track record of executing successful online merchandising and promotional strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
